So I recently bought Dance Dance Revolution Universe, and to be completely honest it was mostly because I wanted to try it out, but each day an added bonus that I didnt expect happens. First of all my wife wants to play it almost daily - so I get to play my xbox with my wife - who is for the most part against playing video games at all costs. Well here is a video of the next bonus I wasn’t completely expecting - but I did kind of think my son would like it a little bit….I think its REALLY cute, but perhaps I am a bit biased since it is my son.

According to Major Nelson, there is a patch for Crackdown…

The update ‘addresses several minor technical issues to ensure a smoother online gameplay experience’ and ‘increases the number of ambient gang vehicles that populate Pacific City.’

I wonder if they put a stealth update in there to fix the Invisible Car Glitch

So us East Coasters should start to see a faster response time when renting games, similar to my netflix shipping times…..I am all for it.

Well I have been trying to do better with keeping up with news and the podcasts that I frequent (thank you iPod for making that rather simple these days), and I just noticed that on the latest episode of the Official Xbox Magazine video podcast released yesterday they are giving away 10 copies of Guitar Hero 2, good luck!

So the rumors were all over the web way before this but Microsoft has officially announced the 360Elite. It’s sexy black, and comes with a nice bundle of accessories:

• 120GB Hard drive
• a matching black wireless controller
• a matching black headset
• a HDMI Cable, but also component HD Cables if you prefer

I mean its nice and all, but I doubt I am going out to rebuy an xbox360, especially since when I got mine the only thing I could get was the standard edition - so I ended up buying all the accessories that come packaged in the premium package - which ended up being more then a premium edition anyway *grumble*

I do like the 120GB hard drive though - I still have space on my 20GB but its nice to know the option exists, and hopefully the price will drop by the time i need it (MSRP $179.99).

Well i was browsing my friends blogs and other sites like i generally try to do daily, but sometimes I don’t get the time, but on Monday I make it a priority, to see updates that I probably missed over the weekend. One of the most interesting was when I stumbled over to zMastaa’s blog, and found he modded his xbox 360. I have linked his youtube video here.

As for the Play and Win with Blades of glory, winners will be selected ‘On or about April 6, 2007′. I had signed up and planned to play with Pat2k9 but for some reason we could not get a session to connect over the couple days that we tried. I blame my connection, but strangely enough I played online with other people in that Game as well as others at the same time we were not able to connect….

Well I didnt get an email for the Shooter contest, and since I wasn’t able to actually get a game connected for the Blades contest its clear that I turned up a loss on both contests

I recorded two quick videos in Shadowrun last night for you my loyal readers! I haven’t played the game much, so I spend alot of time dead - but you get the idea

Also as stated before, the video footage is from beta which is not a representation of the final product. Not to mention that I have to record in SD, etc etc etc…

Well one of our great members over at 3fs posted that the codes needed for the Xbox rewards prizes are now on your rewards page (this is for Contra, the MP’s, and the gamerpics - if you won Fuzion Frenzy and the shirt, at some point they are going to mail it to you. Thanks Kanone.

not sure if I will play this one or not - I do have DOA 4 - apparently this time you need to have a partner and list them on your registration form as the person you will be playing Dead or Alive 4 with. As I said I do own the game so if someone needs a partner let me know and I will be around for at least one match each day to get our submissions in
