Mad Tracks Reviewed

 

About the game:
Think about R.C. Pro-Am, think of Diddy Kong Racing, think of micro machines and wind up cars - now mash those all together and throw it on a pool table for example and you have a good starting point for mad tracks.  You drive mini cars on very interesting tracks covering a bunch of different game types, and an assortment of power ups and weapons, and the car is powered by a spring which refills when you let off the gas.

  1. I just could not get into this game. I don’t like the idea that buying all of the expansions would cost me almost $20 for this XBLA game. Also, I just couldn’t get use to the spring running out of power. I’m not a big fan of racing games because I’m not that good at them so that doesn’t help me like this one either.

  2. I am notoriously bad at racing games, the fact that this is a cartoony racer is what saves it for me.

    also I dont know that I plan to get any of the add ons actually - the intial 15 tracks are fun though.
