Keeping with the robot versus non robot theme I felt the title of this post was fitting, one of my favorite movies when I was a kid was short circuit.  I will never forget towards the end of the movie because it got me in a ton of trouble at grade school.  We used to have a movie day in which we could bring in a movie from home and watch it in class - I brought Short Circuit.  Which passed whatever requirements the teachers had in place, but at towards the end of the movie Norton Crosby says “Holy Shit” and Number Five follows with “No Shit, Where see shit?”.  Which followed buy myself and most of the 1st (or 2nd i forget) grade class quoting it over, and over. 

So I have been thinking some more about what I should do for the personal touch here at my little blog home for those of you that actually stop by and read my ramblings, and I am spinning around some ideas and questions - perhaps you have some input go ahead and leave it in the comments

Originally I thought about doing a daily blog entry, but that just might be too much, especially when my life isn’t full of big time events every day - but I still might give it a try - I just question if I will come up with enough worthy content to justify a daily schedule.  So then I started thinking of doing a weekly thing, posting on monday being the most logical time to do so, catchy name to tag it with wouldn’t be bad either something like Deacons.  So far creativity has failed me on this front, but I haven’t given up hope.

The Gamez

I have been playing Just Cause quite a bit more lately, not because I am in love with the game but simply because I want to finish off all the achievements.  In fact when I first started the game I liked it to some extent, but at this point its like grinding level 50+ in everquest, just mind numbing and for some reason  I feel I must continue. 

I also got a copy of Gears of Wars for Windows, and I read the press releases wrong apparently.  When I read that that it will contain “five new campaign chapters” i confused that with Acts, which in theory makes sense to develop 5 completely new acts, you might as well slap the name Gears of War 2 on it and sell it cross platform.  Sadly my computer is showing its age, the game runs, but not well - even with the effects turned down as low as possible.  So without upgrading something (unsure whats the bottleneck but i blame my RAM) I definately won’t be playing it in versus mode - but I might try and dredge through the campaign to see these new chapters - I am assuming its tacked onto the end.

Still have a possibly unhealthy addiction to Puzzle Quest.  If I log onto live at all, before I fall asleep I make sure to fire up and play puzzle quest for a few rounds, and I am currently planning on getting the DS version of the game too - so I can get my fix when I am not home in front of my xbox360.

I haven’t played Flatout: UC in a few days, but thats always a fun game to give a spin - a game that seems pretty under rated, since I heard very little about it before and even after release.  If you like full auto, burnout revenge, etc - you should enjoy this one.

The Codez

I finally got around to upgrading wordpress to the latest version - which worked some bad mojo on some plugins I had installed - so I have been working on that off and on, so if there is something weird, thats probably it.  The tagging plugin I used apparently is no longer supported - so not exactly sure how that changes my posts - will find out soon.

I have working on some ideas for madden-stats, nothing really major just trying to make the interface more user friendly and logical with luck I can get that online soon and more people can start tracking their stats.

 As stated before I am headed to 360voice Corporate Headquarters (Trappers Dining room apparently) friday after work - should be an interesting time just meeting the ‘men behind the curtain’ that generate those addictive 360blogs

ZaaM and I are working on releasing a some new things on 3fs - more on that once its ready - more could come out of it but expect something new on the site soon

The Newz

• Recently unscripted360 got a facelift, and unlike  the new look at majornelson.com, I really like it (sorry Larry & Litheon :-().
• Screwjumper! released on xbox live arcade today -I haven’t tried it out yet, and only know what’s listing on the details page and the press releases
• Shrek-N-Roll also came out today marking 100 Arcade games on Xbox Live - haven’t played this either, but I havent heard very good things about it.
• Lots of games are coming out - the holidays are good at tempting me with LOTS of new titles, my want list keeps growing, contact me for my address if you wish to give me a birthday (about a month away) or christmas gift
• K-mart supposedly broke the street date on Mass Effect, sadly my K-mart was either out or too smart and I couldn’t get a copy.
• Xbox Live Turns five - I haven’t been on live that long, and had no clue that its been available for that long, pretty impressive actually
• DDR Universe got renamed to DDR/DS Universe - why?  not a damn clue

Based on the size of this entry perhaps I have a bit of diarrhea of the mouth, maybe being a robot isnt so bad….
