Well  here you have it, another Status Report.  Who knows if any of you even care to read these things or anything on my blog to be honest, but whats a blog without posts?!  This week was less eventfull than the last, but that’s to be expected I suppose.  It was Thanksgiving here in the states – so I spent a bit of family time with the extra time off I had from work.  Maybe I should start keeping notes on my gaming, news events, etc to complete these posts – it probably would be a lot easier than relying on my memory – or searching source sites about the last week

The Gamez

• I got to give Mass Effect a spin, but a brief one – there is so much more to be experienced, this is probably going to be the game for this upcomming week
• I played some Puzzle Quest to continue to fill my addiction needs
• My buddy RuKaMiR invited me to play a few rounds of Carcassonne, it was great to dust off that game, and I even pulled off a few achievements.
• This week was COD4 without a doubt, I played through the entire Campaign (not Veteran – I am a wussy).  I was very impressed with the story and graphics of this game, I have yet to play a round of multiplayer so my opinion on that will follow at that time.
• I played Mutant Storm Empire and finished off World 3, boy this thing gets hairy at times – I can’t even imagine what playing the full game on blackbelt is like.
• I played a little bit of skate. as well picked up a few achievements, but I am far from completion
• Finally I played quite a bit of Super Mario Galaxies, actually when i say played for the most part I ran mario around with the numchuck and my son furiously wipped the wiimote making mario spin – he had a blast so it was worth it even if I didnt get any galaxy stars

The Codez

Another week without much coding – in fact I don’t think I did any coding outside of my normal work.  I spent some time trying to figure out a game data fix script I created.  Here on my blog it works fine, 360voice is able to use it without issue as well, but on theliveeye.com it doesnt work at all.  The weird thing is, it is a rather basic script, just simply parsing strings – completely strange.

ZaaM IT made some interesting changes to the 360friendspot site.  Now we have an official reviews and ‘other stuff’ area.  So we can post up official reviews of products, previews, interviews – stuff like that. He Also put together some changes on our regular leaderboards, and added a Halo 3 Leaderboard.  Thanks for picking up the slack Zaam

 Not code really but coding was the result of this latest news.  Theliveeye.com was nominated for Community Site of the Year from Gamertag Radio – a surpise to be honest, but I am honored to know that people are noticing the hard work ZaaM and I do.  We are up against a few other sites – one of which is our friends 360voice.com.

A bit of a boring update, and part of the reason I wasn’t sure if I should make more of an effort in doing these things – I have lots of ‘boring’ weeks.  I guess I could recap whats was on the marketplace, and my thoughts on what I tried, but after reviewing what all came out in a week at MajorNelson.com – this would be an even larger, and more boring post I fear.
