It’s here…..the end of 2007, got any special plans?  Personally I don’t have anything going on, probably just some gaming - depending on if Xbox Live is working or not will decide if its online or offline gaming - and if its xbox 360 or the Wii. :-) 
I am doing a 2 week update because I skipped over last week, the quick version is I was sick, kids were sick, then I was sick again, crazy server problems at work - and lately xbox live issues, December is busy enough but these things caused even more waves!

The fourth title in the “Metal Slug” series joins the Xbox LIVE Arcade library as “Metal Slug 3” arrives this Wednesday, January 2 at 9:00 a.m. GMT (2:00 a.m. PST).

An update of the original arcade version, “Metal Slug 3″ is a run-and-gun video game updated with HD graphics and now features co-op multiplayer over Xbox LIVE. “Metal Slug 3” provides gamers with various route selections within each stage enabling players to play over and over. Join Marco, Tarma, Eri and Fio, the four veterans in the “Metal Slug” series, as they hit the battlefield to stop General Morden from disturbing the order and peace that has begun to return to the world. Throughout the game, various vehicles called “Slugs” are made available to help players in battle and to complete the mission. The game features co-op gameplay for up to two players over Xbox LIVE. Developed by SNK Playmore, “Metal Slug 3” will be available worldwide for 800 Microsoft Points and is rated T for Teen by the ESRB.

Well…well…well another week and almost another skipped status report?  What gives?  I figured I better get in gear and make this week’s status report, which will include last week as well but might be a bit short.  Things are still a bit crazy - December always is, but this is getting ridiculous.

friend sent me this link, and quite honestly - who better to recieve this LOLCatz?

Just got the media reminder about the halo 3 map pack I posted about before is available today.  So for those of you that are anxiously waiting to bust heads in standoff, or manage your way through the rat’s nest, or perhaps you are waiting to get your forge skills going on foundry…well the wait is over, the maps are available today on the marketplace - or you can wait until spring and get these 3 beauties for free

Long story short things are extremely busy right now…so this week was delayed or maybe cancelled.  Here is a mini review of whats keeping me busy

• son is sick with a fever of 104 among other problems
• work just swapped a major server, and tons of IT issues because of it

there is more, but those two are what is taking most of my time and attention right now - so not alot of time for much else.  Hopefully things will clear up real soon.

Are you an arcade addict like myself?  Well you are in luck “Arcade Wednesday” is tomorrow - I am fully aware of the tomorrow being a Tuesday and thus not possible of being an Arcade Wednesday - but we all like that title dont’ we?  Lets just say as a Christmas bonus microsoft has modified made the official Microsoft Calendar skip tuesday this week, and tomorrow really is wednesday - it wouldn’t the first time Microsoft stepped outside of the bounds of the standard set of rules and policies set by there peers - but perhaps I should stop there

Another Monday, another status report.  This week seems to be a pretty big entry, after looking it over I seemed to have gotten quite a bit of gaming in, and even a little coding.  I also threw up a little section about me/my family as a person rather than a gamer - for those of you that really do actually want to know more about the guy behind the gamertag.  Hopefully you actually like it, otherwise I am wasting quite a bit of time typing all this stuff up!
