Yeah monday is long gone and another ‘Status Report‘ got overlooked.  Actually I didn’t overlook it, I just really didn’t have much to post about, and my previous post was the last week’s Status Report - so clearly it was a slow week for my posting.  I couldn’t have status reports back to back now could I?

So for all you blood thirsty hounds just dying to get some input on the live of he who punches squid, here goes, a mini status report update on whats on my mind

So as you know I put a call to arms out about the chat pad, ok maybe not a call to arms, I just wondered what people thought about it since it was on sale, and I am a sucker for a sale.  I was pleased to see people actually replied, as for my decision - well I ended up buying one a few hours after posting that.  I have been enjoying it, and even filled out a quick bio on my xbox profile - alot easier with the chatpad for sure.  Not sold on actually using MSN in game, but I did try it out, and it worked ok, I tend to have MSN, AIM, Email, some forums, and a few windows of code open on my laptop while gaming anyway.

I have been playing quite a bit of Kingom Under Fire: Circle of Doom - I haven’t made it very far, and some of the achievements look pretty serious - but definately glad i picked this game up.  Xbox.com is having a game with the developers thing for the gaming this coming weekend, I am hoping to get some time to play with them, I have never actually participated in one of these in the past, but they seem like a pretty unique experience.

I also got Tony Hawk Proving Ground for $14 on clearance at Target - and it was the limited edition to boot - i havent played it much yet though, but thats just a few bucks more than the cost of a rental at blockbuster. 

Are you in a gamerscore challenge over at 360voice?  Well I put togehter a little tool to help compare your competition called the Challenge Scout.  It must not be too bad, they just recently added a link to automatically scout a challenge from the pending challenge screen - thanks guys!

I finally caught up on some of the arcade demos that came out recently.  A quick review:

• Metal Slug 3 - this seems fun at least for the quick test run that i played
• Tron - I know its retro, and my buddy Tom wil probably kill me for saying it, but Yuck.
• Omega Five - I didnt fully get it in my first test of the game, but this looks interesting as well

not bad for a unscheduled random ramblings of my current thoughts eh?
