What’s in a Title anyway?

So I had no clue what to title this post, hence the title above.  Normally it’s pretty easy “INSERT AWESOME GAME NAME HERE” COMING! or something to that effect, but with all the changes with 360friendspot, I am going to try and seperate my blogging duties.  What exactly does that mean?  Well I will probably keep this more of a personal blogging approach, about myself, gaming, coding, etc - kind of like the status report whenever the mood strikes.  Those of  you looking for news and such - check out 360friendspot.com, I (and my blogging buddies) will keep that kind of thing updated over there to the best of our abilities, over here you will see just ’Squid Stuff’, at least for now - lets see how it goes ;-)

I got my copy of Army of Two, and finished the story recently (only on easy though!) , its pretty likely that I will play through it again a few times with friends.  My thoughts are pretty close to the thoughts at community day - versus mode still isn’t the greatest, but the campaign is pretty nice.

I went through a bit of an arcade binge as well, picked up Triggerheart Exelica, N+, and Rocketmen: Axis of evil.  When I get the time, I will try and write up some reviews, but first impressions of all 3 would be that I am pretty pleased with picking them up.

I started putting some time into Super Mario Galaxies, late I know, but I just don’t have the attachement to the Wii, like the 360.  I do want to at least finish it though, I spent the money on the system and the game, might as well get the value out of it!

Finally I hit level 15 in Tabula Rasa, that’s right folks I have re-entered the world of MMO’s.

Over at 360voice, I put together a new detailed watch list - making it easier to see all the gamers you are watching and some various stats for those gamers.  It was a nice little project to play around with some ajax.

Just talked to Digilearner last night actually, and he is still interested in doing a podcast friendcast over at 360friendspot, so hopefully a test episode will be ready soon!  I started working on user blogs, which i think i might have mentioned before - but I actually have my gamer blog pulling this RSS feed and formatting it correctly, and showing the extra widgets and such that I was putting together there.  The remote call for the RSS, as well as the remote call for 100% clubs might actually need some caching or something because just now it loaded pretty slow for me - other times it was ok, but thats the beauty of shared hosting.

I have been converting and setting up a database to show some live eye statistics - I still don’t know exactly what all to show, I could spend weeks making a way to see all the old data, and barely anyone would use it - so I am just providing a little here and there, and expanding it if the need is there.
