Small Update 2.0!
Jan. 03, 2008
Now your challenge reports are stored and can be shared....check it out! Also if you enter a bad tag it doesn't wipe out the previously entered tags (it didnt before, but it looked like it did)
Small Update!
Jan. 02, 2008
Well I spent some time actually caching the data used by the challenge scout, which does give more room for error but should give even aster performance for gamertags previously used. I actually hit a few snags along the way that made it longer than i expected, but it seems to be working right now. This blog, and all other entries on the site are still actually hand edited files, pathetic I know but editing them to be data driven isnt top priority - plus I could always just install wordpress if these kind of updates are going to become more common
Most of the code is in place to store your challenge report - I just have to put the code together to review a previously built challenge scout report and then you will be able to easily share your results with friends without them having to go through the gamertag selection process as well. Also this will make it possible to get a scouting report before a challenge and compare the results to the real results, I hope to have that ready very soon.
Welcome to Challenge Scout!

Welcome to the Challenge Scout. Another service created by Squidpunch. This tool will gather information about you and possible opponents and try to forcast the results of your upcoming gamerscore challenge. The data is gathered by your 360voice profiles real time, and then run through a scoring process to give my forcasted results - those with new profiles have less data, thus making it harder to truly judge where they might end up in an upcoming challenge - but its all for fun anyway isn't it? I mean I am not taking bets, nor do I think these numbers are like the Vegas odds on a boxing match....but maybe one day it could be? :)
Enjoy,
Squidpunch
