Well not really a band aid - but starting today at 5PM EST there will be a title update for UNO on the xbox live arcade.  This update will enable ‘big button’ support for those of you that get the Scene it! game.  Allows you to find other members that have the camera enabled, if that is your thing, and finally allows you to access your privacy settings in a much easier fashion.  Nothing really major, but the game has been going strong for quite some time without many bugs - what isnt broke…..

 Also releasing this Arcade wednesday is pack #3 for bomberman, and new DLC for Pinball FX - not much info on these two yet though.

That’s right folks - its that time of year where my company ships me and the wife (and all of the other employees) to a nice little trip to NYC.  Since the wife and I rarely get time alone (kids are staying home with the grandparents) I am fighting the urge to bring the laptop and just going to enjoy the weekend with her.  We have a broadway show, some shopping, and a night at Carolines comedy club planned - time will tell what else the trip will entail.

 If we take any photos I will throw them up on the family blog, and link them if anyone is interested.

Thursday, June 14, at 2 a.m. GMT, the stakes get even higher as “Gears of War®”, rated M for Mature, releases eight new Achievements for the “Annex” gametype and the “Hidden Fronts” Multiplayer Map Pack on Xbox LIVE®.

In addition to adding new Achievements, worth a total of 250 points, “Gears of War” developer Epic has improved the Roadie Run controls so players have greater control of their movement and can better annihilate their pestilent enemies. The title update will also help squash multiplayer exploits and provide general housekeeping.

For those who have yet to man up and join the battle, the “Annex” gametype is now available for free and the “Hidden Fronts” Multiplayer Map Pack is available on Xbox LIVE® Marketplace for 800 Microsoft Points. All four multiplayer maps will be made available at no cost over Xbox LIVE® on Sept. 3, 2007.

I have been wondering the same thing, and I just got this notification from Activision last night. Included is a link to view the new character trailer, which I believe is the same video I linked in a previous entry, but this time in HD. Most important thing to note is they no longer have official release date we just need to “Stay tuned”.

The exciting new downloadable content for Marvel: Ultimate Alliance on Xbox Live is so close, we can almost taste it…

As you might have read, these packs were originally scheduled for release this week. To ensure a top notch gaming experience, Activision is spending a little extra time on the final rounds of QA.

They’re working hard to finalize the packs and we’ll announce the new release date very soon…

In the meantime, we’ve got some nice hi def footage of the new playable characters to share with you!

I dont get very many comments but I threw together a quick plugin which will generate your gamertile image next to your comments if you use a valid gamertag. Being an XDCP member has it’s perks I guess you could say, currently because of the XDCP data access I cannot provide this plugin to those outside of the program. If people really are looking for this, maybe I could change it in a way that others (outside of XDCP) could use it.

I would post about it, but let’s be honest if you are reading my blog its not for late breaking news….and you have all ready read it somewhere else. It looks a bit interesting to me, being able to chat to MSN contacts - and having a keyboard…well that would be awesome, typing text messages with the controller sucks so bad, I almost always have my laptop sitting next to me to send text messages from xbox.com.

On April 10th two character packs will be available for download. 4 new heros, and now the ability to have villians on your alliance team.

The hero pack includes: The Incredible Hulk, Cyclops, Nightcrawler and Hawkeye

The Villian Pack includes: Venom, Dr. Doom, Magneto, and Sabretooth

There are going to be some new gamer pics, and themes also available, and the rumor is they are adding another 250 points worth of achievements. I have read these downloads will not include any new content in game - so these 250 points must be based on the current game content, it should be interesting to see what they come up with.

Well this blog is hosted on the same site as 360friendspot.com. If you didn’t the site performing a bit slower then usual it is because we got some serious media coverage about our site and tools for a change, which drove a TON of traffic our way.

The unscripted interview was completed and available Here, in addition to that we were Dug which was picked up by xbox360fanboy.

Traffic has seemed to slow down a bit, and all of our sites are back to functioning again. It was exciting to say the least - and we have picked up quite a few more Live Eye Members, and hopefully some more active members for the forums.

PS. If you listen to the interview, dont be to harsh - it was probably the most nervous I have ever been in my life.

well being the n00b that I am, I just upgraded wordpress, but since I was using a default template for my theme I lost all of the mods I have put into the site. I am currently trying to fix that problem, the only thing that seems to be outstanding is the ability to show ‘Tags’ instead of categories.

I was contacted by DeaconBlade 360 a little while back asking me to be on his show over at Unscripted 360. We have had a few discussions back and forth through various means and he is currently planning on having me on for episode #26 - which should be recorded and available next week. Why in the world would he want to chat with me? I was wondering the same thing, but he has been trying out our Live Eye application and wants to discuss it. He’s a great guy and I enjoy his show - so I am very honored to be a part of it.
